Sorry for the lack of a journal in so long, it has been almost two months since I did one >< It has been a combination of being very busy, lack of motivation and wanting to avoid sounding all emo. Each time I start one I go on an emo rant but I really need to do a journal now so I will keep it quick. Will try and keep this one fairly short and may expand on things a bit more in other journals if get around to it.


General

Oh life, you cruel, cruel beast. Been feeling pretty down for a fair while now but that isn't that new of news. Mainly has to do with people being unthoughtful and me wondering who my friends really are. Felt very isolated, left out and generally not wanted by people I thought were better friends than that. Pretty well getting an idea of who my friends are now though. When some people can't even be bothered to add you to msn you have to wonder. Thanks to those people that have helped me though

I do have MSN, Twitter and Facebook for those that want to add me. If you want them just ask.

Thing that has had me pretty worried and down is that my sister is moving out in the middle of December so I have to find somewhere else or someone to move in which are both proving to be a problem. I had considered doing the big move to Brisbane or Sydney but once again, I have no one I can stay with while I look for a job/place of my own. Very annoying.


Cosplay

Got a pretty big list already for costumes for next year which is scary but once I get the motivation it should mean I can start on them fairly soon. None of the costumes are really super epic but I would still have liked to have a shorter list after the stress of this year! Most of the people I might normally cosplay with seemed to have ditched me but it is giving me the chance to cosplay with some new and awesome people so that should be good fun.

Most convention costumes are pretty well worked out just need to finalise which days of the cons. I would like to advertise some group spots once things are organised.


Conventions

Gen Con was the last con I was at and it was about the same as usual. Wasn't the best convention by a long shot and if it wasn't for the people would be pretty boring. Only did a couple of unofficial shoots so wasn't very busy. I cosplayed as Frank West from Dead Rising which was different for me but lots of fun. Next and final stop is Madman National Cosplay Championship Finals in Melbourne. Hadn't intended on going but got talked into it Will arrive Friday night and staying until Monday night so that leaves me Sunday and Monday to relax with people a little bit. I didn't put up a schedule or photoshoot details as I am already behind on the photos I have to send out but if someone wants one just grab me.

Would have loved to have gone to EOY in Singapore but that doesn't look like it will happen


Photography

Sorry to all those people for the long wait with your photos. From the end of July with the Code Geass shoot until just after Gen Con, I took just on 20000 photos at 8 events! Plus in the last month or so I haven't touched photos for a bit as I was so down I just couldn't bring myself to look at them as I felt so crap about all my photography but I should be sending out some batches/DVDs soon. Also going to redo forms, process and everything for next year from this experience so that things happen quicker.


Future

Trying to work out some mega plans for next year. Really hoping to do a huge trip next year to Japan then fly to the USA for Fanime. Flights from here to Japan are okay as are America to Australia but flights from Japan to America are so expensive!

Also I am wanting to get my website moving again and having more regular content. I would like to find some people that can add content whatever it may be. I also need reporters for conventions that I can not go to. If you are reporting for my site there is a good chance I can get you a media pass but I would prefer if you were a cosplayer and took some photos to include in the report.
